Condoms provide protection only for as long as they are properly worn. Condoms can be used in conjunction with other methods to increase contraceptive efficacy and prevent Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
Condoms prevent pregnancy by blocking sperm from entering the uterus. With the male condom, the penis should be withdrawn after ejaculation while still erect, being careful not to spill any semen.
When removed, your fertility will return to normal.
